Free Group Ride
TREATS: South Lake Loop w/Chief Sealth Trail
Event has already happened.
Join us for a social ride around the south end of Lake Washington. This is a 42.2 mile route through Kirkland, Bellevue, Renton and Seattle on the very hilly Chief Sealth Trail with a restroom stop at Mile 14.7 (Gene Coulon) and a coffee/food stop at Mile 29 (Leschi). There are hills, but we climb them at our own pace and always regroup at the top. Restrooms/water are available at the start. Park at south end of parking lot.
Meet at Crestwoods Park and please be ready to ride at 10:00am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you may not be able to ride with the group. Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. If you wish to join along the route, please contact us to arrange a meeting point where we can stop and give you the safety briefing.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
