Lets Go For A Bike Ride - Around Lake Sammamish

Join us for a ride from Luke McRedmond Landing (Luke McRedmond shares the entrance with the Hyatt House Hotel, make an immediate right after turning into the hotel drive) on a 25 mile route at steady pace  (12 - 14 MPH)

Let's meet at Luke McRedmond Landing and please be ready to ride at 10:00 AM.  We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together.  We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

Restrooms are NOT available at the start but there are several stopping points for along the route for restrooms.  We will go counter clockwise around the lake, the West Lake Sammamish Parkway has recently been repaved in several places making for a smooth ride. At the halfway point we will make a slight detour and head for the Issaquah Coffee Shop for a break and snacks.  After our break we will continue on the East Lake Sammamish Trail and Parkway back to our starting point.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
