Lake Washington Loop from South Kirkland P&R

Join us for a ride from South Kirkland Park & Ride on a 48 mile route at a steady pace of 12-14 MPH!

This is the Yellow #4 CTS route of Lake Washington Loop that was canceled on 4/30 due to rain. We're posting this as a make-up ride opportunity. All are welcome, but registration is required. 

NOTE TO CTS RIDERS -- WE MOVED THE START TO SOUTH KIRKLAND P&R and made some slight modifications to the route, but are planning to ride the entire Lake Washington loop.

Let's meet at the South Kirkland Park & Ride parking lot and please be ready to ride at 10:30am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup and stay together at the top and bottom of the hills as needed. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

There are NO restrooms or water at the start, so please plan accordingly. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at miles approximately 10.2 (Gene Coulon Park), 23.5 (Madrona Park) and 33 (Matthews Beach Park).

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
