Lets Go For A Bike Ride - A Starbucks Treat

Join us for a ride from The Wilburton Park & Ride on a 30 mile route at Steady Pace (12 - 14 mph)

Let's meet at the Wilburton Park & Ride and please be ready to ride at 10:00AM. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will leave from the Wilburton Park & Ride and head south get on the new bike trail past the Seahawks Training Center to Gene Coulon Park (Renton).  Continue south through Renton and pick up the Cedar River Trail, continue south to the Starbucks on the Maple Valley Highway.  Treat time because your Ride Leader is also a Starbucks Barista and your coffee is on him.  After coffee or whatever you prefer to drink we will head back on the same route to our starting point.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

Restrooms are not available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at Gene Coulon Park and Starbucks miles 7 and 15. Starbucks will also be our break for snacks.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
