**CANCELLED** Gas Works Interurban Kirkland 520 Loop

Join us for a ride from Gas Works Park in Seattle on a 32.2 mile route at Moderate Pace (14-16mph)!

We'll head north from Gas Works to Green Lake where we'll join the Interurban Trail route to Shoreline.  We'll descend Perkins Way to the Burke Gilman trail to Log Boom Park for a quick stop.  We'll continue on the Burke and turn south to climb Waynita Way and then Market Street southbound into Kirkland for our second rest stop.  Then it's on to the 520 trail to the UW and back to Gas Works.

Let's meet at Gas Works Park and please be ready to ride at 8:00am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup fairly frequently.

Restrooms and water are available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms (sani-can) at Log Boom Park in Kenmore (mile 14.9) and Kirkland Waterfront Park (mile 22.8).  Water is available in Kirkland but NOT at Log Boom.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
