CTS Yellow #10: Kent-Enumclaw

Yellow Ride #10 starts at the Kent/James Street P&R in Kent, making a clockwise loop that includes Maple Valley, Ravensdale, Enumclaw, South Prairie, Orting, Sumner and passing through Auburn on the way back to the start.  At this point in the training series, the amount of climbing in this route should not be a problem.  There will be a short restroom stop at Isaac Evans Park near the start of the ride (due to no restrooms at the P&R).  The route then takes us along scenic Green Valley Rd, past farms and meadows.  Our first climb will begin after making a left turn onto 218th Ave SE from Green Valley Rd.  When we reach the end of that road, we continue to loop through Maple Valley, Ravensdale, and Cumberland before reaching our food stop in Enumclaw.  After our food stop, the fun begins by riding on mostly flat and downhill roads along with some rollers in Buckley, South Prairie, Orting, and Sumner.  Our final food/restroom stop will be Starbucks when we arrive in Sumner.  From there, we will finish up with a relaxing ride on our way to the Interurban Trail and back to the start.  Come ready to enjoy a great day in the saddle with beautiful scenery and great view of Mt Rainier (weather permitting).
