Renton to Madison Park V1

Join us for a ride from Renton Old City Hall (200 Mill Ave) to Madison Park in Seattle, a 28-mile route at Moderate pace (14-16 mph.) 

Let's meet at Old City Hall at 10:45 a.m. for our pre-ride safety briefing; we'll roll out after that. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.   The pace of this ride is based on having no wind and being on a flat road. If there is a headwind or a hill, the pace will be lower, if we have a tailwind or downhill, the pace may be higher. 

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together.  

Restrooms are not available at the start, we will stop at Seward Park at mile point 7. There will be food/coffee stops at Madison Park Bakery (mile point 14) or Starbucks (mile point 14.2.)

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
