Event has already happened.
Join us for a ride from Burnett Linear Park in Renton on a 32 mile route at Steady Pace (12-14mph).
Let's meet at Burnett Linear Park and be ready to ride at 10:00 am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group. The route is mostly on the Duwamish River Trail to West Seattle. Lunch will be at Marination Ma Kai. Then we return along the same route except for minor variations through South Park and Allentown. We will take the new trail through the Black River Riparian Forest then ride across Renton to the start. We expect to be back at the cars about 3:00 pm
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace. Our goal will be to stay together. .
Restrooms: NOT available at the start. We will stop at Fort Dent Park (mile 4.2), Marination Ma Kai for lunch (mile 17.2), and Foster Golf Links (mile 28.5).
What to Bring: A spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Cue sheet: If you would like a cue sheet and map, print one from the RWGPS link below
Cancellation Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
