Saturday Snohomish Co. ride (Lynnwood/Picnic Point)

Join us for a 39.60-mile ride from the Lynnwood Transit Center at a Moderate pace (14-16 mph on the flats.) 

This route includes the Edmonds waterfront and the descent/climb of Picnic Point before rolling through parts of South Everett and Mill Creek.

Let's meet at the Lynnwood Transit Center south parking lot and please be ready to ride at 8:55 a.m. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup occasionally. 

Restrooms are not available at the start, but we will make a restroom stop at Lynndale Park at mile point 10.3. Water is not available at the start or at Lynndale Park, so, please come prepared with full bottles. We will make a water and snack stop of the Safeway at Silver Lake at mile point 25.5. 

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
