**CANCELLED** Renton to Black Diamond 50

Join us for a Sunday morning roll from Renton out to Black Diamond Bakery! We've gotten to October, and here's a chance to get together before Fall begins in earnest. Throw in pastry options, company, and fifty-some miles of South End roads, and you've got the makings of a great close to the weekend!

We'll meet at the 200 Mill Ave S, and please be ready to ride at 9:00 AM. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

This will be a Moderate paced ride; we'll cruise at 14-16 mph, assuming no wind and flat roads. This means we'll be a bit slower uphill or into the wind, a bit faster on the downhills or with a tailwind. We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and we'll regroup at the tops of our climbs. There's no restroom at our start point, but we'll make a quick stop at Ron Regis Park, about 3 miles in. We'll reach Black Diamond Bakery at about the 20 mile mark; after a social stop there for coffee and a snack, we'll return via Auburn and the Green River Valley. There'll be another restroom stop at Brannan Park, about mile 35.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
