Women & Non-Binary Only Ride around Redmond

Please note, this is a Women and Non-binary ride only. W&NB rides are only for individuals that identify as a woman or non-binary, including trans-gender women and cis-gender women. Male identifying riders can support this group best by finding other appropriate rides on the Free Group Rides calendar and leaving this space for W&NB riders.  

Join us for a ride from BJ's Restaurant & Brewery at Redmond Town Center on a 12 mile route at a Steady pace of 12-14 mph on the flats! We will stay mostly on the trails, but there will be some road riding and this ride has one gentle hill. Our goal will be to stay together. 

We welcome all to have beverage at BJ Restaurant & Brewery after the ride where we can talk everything cycling and Cascade's different rides programs and events.   

Please be in the parking lot area between BJ's and 166th Ave NE, promptly at 5:30 pm and be ready to ride. We will start with a required safety briefing and then begin riding when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.   

If you are unsure of your pace or are a new rider, please contact me to determine if the pace would be appropriate. 

Restrooms are available near Starbucks in Redmond Town Center before we meet.   

If a rider has a mechanical issue, we will stop to assist the rider.  If there is a major mechanical issue preventing a roadside fix, we will ensure the rider has a safe means to return to the start or home. Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case.

Helmets are required.

If you don’t have full fenders and the roads are wet, you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
