Bike Your Park Day: Start at Mathews Beach and use the Burke-Gilman trail to go the the NE 65th St entrance of Magnuson Park. Ride the trails and paths in Magnuson including some gravel. Exit the park from the north end and return to Mathews Beach.
Route: Come, have fun, converse and enjoy this social bike ride along the Burke Gilman Trail. The terrain is flat.
Cue sheets: No cue sheets provided. Stay together ride.
Fenders: If the riding surfaces are wet, please come equipped with fenders long enough to keep the person riding behind you dry or be the caboose.
Ride start: We meet at the Matthews Beach parking lot. Please be ready to ride at 12:00 pm(noon). We will start with a required safety briefing and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.
Water and restrooms are available at the start. Be prepared if you have a mechanical problem e.g. flat tire.
Register: Please sign an e-waiver by clicking on the “Register Now” button at the top of this page (right below the ride title) and enter your information. If you cannot make the ride, please cancel your registration so a spot can be freed up for someone else.
Parking: Free parking at Matthews Beach parking lot. Arrive early to beat the seagulls for a good spot.
Weather cancellation: - Steady showers or more severe weather will cancel the ride. Ride cancellation will be announced in the comments section at least two hours before start time and the ride leader(s) will not be at the start.

What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
