TREATS - Monroe - Snohomish Loop

Join us for a loop ride from Lewis Street Park in Monroe on a rural 31.5 mile route at steady pace (12-14 mph)!

The ride meanders through the scenic towns and peaceful farmlands of southeast Snohomish County. Starting in the flatlands of the Snohomish River Valley in Monroe, we work our way up to Maltby where we are rewarded with Cascade views and a rest stop at Maltby Community Park (mile 14). After reaching the high point of the ride, we will continue past the beautiful gardens of Flower World and descend back into the river valley and the quaint town of Snohomish, where we will stop for coffee/lunch at the Snohomish Bakery (mile 22). We round out the ride with a scenic section along Old Snohomish Monroe Road back to our starting point. 

Let's meet at Lewis Street Park, Monroe. Please be ready to ride at 10 am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup at the top of each hill. 

Restrooms and water are available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at miles 14 and 22.  We’ll also stop for coffee/lunch at Snohomish Bakery at mile 22.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
