Join us for a short social ride from Heritage Park in downtown Kirkland. This is a 27.4 mile route through Kirkland and Bothell at a Steady Pace (12-14 mph) with a coffee/snack stop at Beardslee Plaza. There are hills, but we climb them at our own pace and always regroup at the top. Restrooms are not available at the start, but we will stop for restrooms/water at Juanita Beach Park @ 2.5 mile. Parking is limited at Heritage Park but there is ample room on Waverly Way adjacent to the park.
Let's meet at Heritage Park and please be ready to ride at 11:00am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group. Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
