Woodinville-Klahanie Loop

Join us for a scenic ride starting from the Woodinville Sports Field parking lot across from Wilmot Park on a 66.4 mile route at a moderate pace of 14-16 MPH. Restrooms, water and parking are available at the start.

We will start along the Sammamish Trail then up Hollywood Hill and down to Woodinville-Duvall road. From there we ascend to Redmond Ridge Park where we will stop for restroom and water at mile 15. Then we proceed to a great descent down Union Hill Road, through the Snoqualmie Valley and into Carnation where we will stop for a coffee break at mile 30. From there we will ride to SE Issaquah-Fall City Road and ascend up Duthie Hill and proceed to Klahanie Park where we will have a restroom and water stop at mile 45. From there we have another great descent down to East Lake Sammamish Parkway and through Marymoor Park where we will have an optional restroom and water stop at mile 59 and then return to the Woodinville Sports Field.

Let's meet at the Woodinville Sports Field Parking Lot and please be ready to ride at 8:45 AM. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and we will regroup frequently. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum 15 MPH

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
