Free Group Ride
4th of July - Ron Regis to Ristrettos (STEADY)
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
NOTE: Due to covid protocols we will be staging in a location separate from the moderate riders, please look for the red BMW.
Join us for a ride from Ron Regis Park on a 40.2 mile route at Steady (12-14 MPH)!
We will begin at Ron Regis Park and start up the Cedar River Trail and then along the beautiful, rolling Jones Road out to Ristrettos for coffee and refreshments on their deck with a view of Mt. Rainier. Then we will head back for a mostly downhill ride to the start.
Please meet at the Ron Regis Park at 8:45am for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a prompt departure at 9:00. You must be present for the SMART talk and covid briefing otherwise you will not be allowed to ride.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup as needed.
Restrooms available at the start, no water. We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at Ristrettos at mile 12.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
