Woodinville - Snohomish loop

Join us for a ride from Woodinville Park & Ride on a 40 mile route at a Brisk pace of 17 MPH (on flats with no wind).

Let's take it easy(er) this Saturday with a shorter and less hilly, but equally spectacular ride through the northern Snoqualmie Valley. From Woodinville P&R we'll climb gently over Woodinville Duval Road then head north to Snohomish and return via Cathcart and Maltby (including a quick climb up Eliott Road).

Let's meet at the Woodinville Park & Ride at 8:45am for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 9:00am.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup at the top of more sustained climbs. Stronger riders may choose to climb faster than the ride leader but will agree to regroup at the top. Regroup points are noted on the RWGPS route and will be reminded during the ride. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

Restrooms are not available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at miles 17 (Al Borlin Park) and if needed at mile 34 (Maltby Community Park). We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at Snohomish Bakery at mile 26.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
