Evening Bliss - a short, steady, scenic spin in University Place

Please join us for  Dan Clemens' 2nd Mentored Ride! 

We could all use a little bliss! Let's meet in Market Square (in front of the University Place Library) for an evening spin over the Tacoma Narrows bridge and past Titlow and Chamber's Bay parks.  (See route linked below) .  Please be at the start at 5:45pm for our pre-ride safety briefing.  Our start and end location is near Bliss Small Batch Creamery - optional post ride treats in the plaza. 

This is a no-drop, social ride! We will climb and descend hills at our own pace and will regroup after hills and before turns if we are spaced out. 

Free parking is available in the library's parking garage.

We'll stop briefly to take in the view and use the washrooms at the golf course trail at mile 13, if desired. 

Helmets are required. We plan to be done before dark, but please have front and back lights on your bike, just in case.  Other items to bring: spare tube, tire levers, pump or cartridge, ID, a charged cell phone, cash/credit card. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
