Join us for a ride from Edmonds Civic Park on a 23.4 mile route at a Moderate Pace 14-16 MPH!
The route is a hilly ride starting in Edmonds. To warm up we’ll travel north and take in views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains on our way to Meadowdale Beach Rd. After our climb up Meadowdale we head south toward Shoreline Community college and Innes Arden with more ups and downs along the way. There is a nice downhill ride at Shoreline CC. After traveling through Innes Arden, we head back to Edmonds stopping at Richmond Beach for another view of the Olympics and Sound. We will regroup after major hills. There are no official bathroom stops however at mile 9 there is a 7-Eleven and Burger King. There are restrooms at the start.
Let's meet at Edmonds City Park at 9:45 for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 10:00.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup after hills . We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).
Restrooms are available at the start and will stop if needed at mile 9.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
