Rain or Shine/ Federal Way-Monster Burger

Join us for a ride from the B.P.A. South Trail Head in Federal Way on a 26 mile route at a moderate  pace at 14-16mph!

That's right, you heard it! If we have rain or shine on Tuesday we are riding.

We will begin our ride at the South Trail Head, where we will begin our journey! We will be riding through some of the main neighborhoods in the city. Our goal during the ride will be to stay safe. Crossing neighborhoods depending on how heavy traffic is, will result in the group riding on the crosswalk and eventually back onto the roadway. This will/might include, 336th street, 320th street, 21st Ave, 288th and PAC HWY, and 320th and Military Rd. Our rest stop/coffee stop will be at the Monster Burger at mile 19!

Let's meet at the start at 10:45am to get ourselves ready and to listen to our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 11am.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

Restrooms are not available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at Monster Burger.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
