Free Group Ride
Salmon Bay outing: West Point Lighthouse and Magnolia loop
Event has already happened.
Do you like beginning your weekend out on a leisurely bike ride? Let’s get together and enjoy the views of Puget Sound from the West Point Lighthouse and the Magnolia Bluff.
Please note: During COVID-19 Phases 1.5 and 2, all Free Group Rides are limited to six total participants: the Ride Leader and five others. Registration for the ride (using the red “Register Now” button above) is REQUIRED to participate. If you decide not to ride, please unregister for this ride so that an additional spot will be made available to another.
Face coverings (for mouth and nose) are required when the group makes extended stops. Face coverings are recommended for the duration of the ride. Please bring personal hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes and tissues for use at rest stops.
We’ll meet in the southern section of the parking lot at Fishermen’s Terminal. Please arrive at 8:40 AM to get yourself ready, check in, and listen to the pre-ride briefing. We will roll out at 9:00 AM. There is a restroom at the start. Since it is a short route, no other restroom stops are planned. We will mostly stay together. We’ll climb hills at our own pace and regroup at the top. You should come equipped to fix a flat or deal with any mechanical issues you may encounter.
If the ride is canceled due to steady rain or other hazardous conditions, a notice will be posted here, in the comments section below, by 7:00 AM on the day of the ride, and the ride leader will not be at the start.
