Evening Bliss - A short spin in University Place

Please note: During COVID-19 Phases 1.5 and 2, all Free Group Rides are limited to six total participants: the Ride Leader and five others. Registration for the ride (using the red “Register Now” button above) is REQUIRED to participate. If you decide not to ride, please unregister for this ride so that an additional spot will be made available to another. Please register by 4pm on the day of the ride. 

Face coverings (for mouth and nose) are required when the group makes extended stops. Face coverings are recommended for the duration of the ride. Please bring personal hand sanitizer,  disinfecting wipes and tissues for use at rest stops.

We could all use a little more bliss! Let's meet on Friday the 31st in Market Square (in front of the University Place Library) for an evening spin past Titlow and Chamber's Bay parks.  (See route linked below) .  Please be at the start at 5:45pm for our pre-ride safety briefing.  Our start and end location is near Bliss Small Batch Creamery - I am planning to hang out in the plaza for a post ride treat and you are welcome to join me, at a safe distance. 

This is a no-drop, social ride! We will climb and descend hills at our own pace and will regroup after hills and before turns if we are spaced out. 

If you are coming by car, there is free parking in the library's parking garage. 

Helmets are required. We should be done before dark, but please have front and back lights on your bike, just in case.  Other items to bring: spare tube, tire levers, pump or cartridge, ID, a charged cell phone, cash/credit card. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
