Recovery Ride from Silver Lake
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
This ride is for those who feel the need for a recovery ride from their Saturday efforts. We'll start from Silver Lake, make a brief bathroom stop in Everett before heading south and climbing up 56th/116th to the start.
The pace is Moderate (14-16 m.p.h. on the flats). We will adjust for hills or other challenges. We will regroup -- if necessary -- at major intersections and after climbs.
Riders should be prepared to be independent in the event of a mechanical issue.
This ride will go in showers, but other inclement or dangerous weather may cancel the ride at the leader’s discretion. If the ride is canceled before 7:30 a.m., it will be noted in the comments section below, and the leader will not be at the start. If there is rain in the forecast or the roads will be wet, please consider long fenders and mudflaps. Those who arrive unprepared may be asked to ride at the back of the group.
Other expectations:
-
Please arrive 15-20 minutes before the ride start to allow time for sign-in and a pre-ride S.M.A.R.T. briefing.
-
There will be no cue sheets at the start; please bring your own and/or load the route to your GPS.
You are encouraged to pre-register by clicking the red "Register Now" button above. There is no need to unregister if you decide not to ride.
