Fall Cycling Federal Way / Auburn / Des Moines

Join us for a fun ride from Federal Way on a 38 mile route at Brisk Pace (16-18 mph on flat roads with no headwind).

Starting in Federal Way, we will head south to Auburn over rolling hills as we continue pedaling north to some climbing hills. We roll along into Des Moines where we head back south along beautiful scenic water views. We will end the ride back at Celebration park.

Let's meet at Celebration Park at 9:10 am for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 9:30 am.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

Restrooms are available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at miles 16.9 miles Jimmy's Deli and convenience store. We’ll also stop for a restroom stop at mile 23.6 Zenith Park port-a-john.

You are encouraged to pre-register by clicking the red "Register Now" button above. There is no need to unregister if you decide not to ride.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
