Rainy Day Hills #4

Here is a ride for a potentially rainy day.  It mostly follows the Seven Hills of Kirkland route, but is even better with three additional hills!  The route has plenty of opportunities to turn back if we get too cold and wet.

The starting location is the Kirkland Transit Center, between Peter Kirk Park and the library. There is four hours of free parking at the library. Water and a heated restroom are also available.

Our only food/water stop on this ride will be at the Kingsgate Safeway at about mile 28.

If you click the "Register Now" button on this page it saves you from having to sign in at the start of the ride.  Also, it gives me an idea of how many people to expect. Please register at least two hours before the start of the ride.

Please plan on arriving at least 15 minutes before the start of the ride so you can get signed in, hear the pre-ride briefing, and be ready for an on-time start.  All riders must be present for the briefing in order to participate.

Steady rain, ice, and snow cancel this ride.  If the ride is canceled due to weather, a notice will be posted in the comments 2 hours prior and the ride leader will not be at the start.  Be sure to check back on this web site for weather updates if the weather is in doubt. Please bring long fenders if the roads are wet or rain is in the forecast.
