Cemeteries and Water Towers

Cemeteries and Water Towers is a fun hilly ride from Lake Forest park to Edmonds that passes through or by cemeteries and water towers. We will also visit some of my favorite roads and viewpoints  as well.

Join us for a ride from the upper parking lot of Lake Forest Park shopping center near the Lake Forest Park Bar and Grill. This route is 29 miles at the upper end  of a moderate pace!

Feel free to get festive as long as you do not impede your vision or ability to ride safely.

Let's meet at the upper West parking at 9:45 for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 10:00.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup occasionally. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

Restrooms are available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at Edmonds Brackett's Landing North of the ferry terminal.

Bring some food and water to eat along the way. Post ride we may choose to meet for lunch at the Lake Forest Park Bar and Grill.

You are encouraged to pre-register by clicking the red "Register Now" button above. There is no need to unregister if you decide not to ride.

At mile 7.3 you will be required to lift your bike over a turnstile exiting a cemetery.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
