East Bremerton Loop (Kitsap County)

Join us for a ride from Bremerton on a 22 mile route at a Brisk pace (16-18 mph on flats)!

A beautiful route, starting from Downtown Bremerton, that quickly transitions to rural and quiet roads in Kitsap County. We will enjoy a mix of water views and forests on this tour of different areas in eastern Bremerton. 

Let's meet at the Evergreen Rotary Park in Bremerton at 4:15pm for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a prompt departure at 4:30pm. My hope is we complete the ride in 2 hours (or less), to ensure sufficient sunlight for the ride. Additionally, although it can't be guaranteed, I also hope to conclude the ride in time to let any riders heading back to Seattle to do so on the 6:40pm ferry (although subsequent opportunities to return are available): https://www.wsdot.com/ferries/schedule/scheduledetailbyroute.aspx?route=sea-br 

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup at the top of hill climbs, and stay together during the flatter sections of rides. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

Restrooms are available at the start. There are no planned stops on this route.

You are encouraged to pre-register by clicking the red "Register Now" button above. There is no need to unregister if you decide not to ride.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
