Pre-Halloween Costume Cruise

Calling on Ghosts, Ghouls, Goblins and Gearheads: Join us for a 19-mile, moderate-paced (14 mph) social costume ride. It's almost Halloween, so time to show your biking spirit. Even though we don't normally recognize each other without helmets on, now's a chance to really masquerade. Let's meet at the Cascade Bicycle Club headquarters at 1:45 pm for a pre-ride safety brief, then we'll mount our brooms and bikes at 2pm for a fun ride over to Green Lake, up to Greenwood, then to Haller Lake and return to the park. There are a couple of hills, but in general we'll be on easy flat segments so we can showcase our costumes.  Special prize for the best costume! If it's wet out, fenders are recommended so your ghost doesn't turn into a skunk. Costumes are encouraged, but not required. Hope you can join us.
