Join Clif and I for family and chidren's fun ride, with a brown bag lunch. We will ride the Sumner Link Trail to a park for a lunch and return back. The slowest rider sets the pace and we have options to stop along the way for photos and snacks. We are always welcome to ride a little shorter or longer if any one desires to do that. Please bring, snacks, water and a brown bag lunch. Also as the weather begins to cool off and the rain starts, please check the weather and dress accordingly. Please feel free to contact the ride leaders for any questions you might have!! We are happy to help and answer your questions the best we can!
We will meet at the parking lot east of the Sumner Link Trail start, right turn off of 8th St E/Stewart Rd SE, BEFORE you go up Lake Tapps Dr. Please contact me if you get lost and if you go up the big hill, you missed the parking lot.
PLEASE ARRIVE 30 minutes early to ready your bike, check in, and to listen to the S.M.A.R.T talk. You should dress appropriately for the weather, but you do not need spandex or other specialized bike gear. All you need is a working bike, water, and a helmet. If you haven't ridden your bike for quite some time, please do an ABC Check (link below) or take it to your local bike shop a few days prior to the ride date. During the safety and ride briefing, we will go over hand signals and what we say during the ride to keep ourselves safe. If it’s wet or raining, please use fenders and buddy flaps if you have them. If you do not have them, you may be asked to ride in the back.
Register - Please sign an e-waiver by clicking on the “Register Now” button at the top of this page (right below the ride title) and enter your information. If you cannot make the ride, you do not need to un-register. Weather – Showers, severe weather or unsafe riding conditions will cancel the ride. RIDE CANCELATION WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN COMMENTS SECTION AT LEAST 2 HOURS BEFORE RIDE START TIME AND RIDE LEADER(S) WILL NOT BE AT START.

What to Know Before You Go

- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
