David Fisher is in town and wants to ride!  Whether you know David, a former ride leader and friend, or not, please join us for a fun ride around Lake Sammamish with a stop at Issaquah Coffee for coffee and food.

We will ride over to Honda Hill and through Bellevue towards Marymoor Park before returning via East Lake Sammamish towards Issaquah.  We will stop for coffee at Issaquah Coffee before returning to the start by way of beautiful May Valley Road.  

Please RSVP by clicking on the red Register Now button at the top of this page.  Then put a checkmark in the waiver release box, complete the Emergency Contact Number, and click on Save.  By doing this you will save time at the ride start.  Note that this RSVP requires a Cascade Bicycle Club account.  If you don't have one and/or don't want one, come to the ride anyway and just sign the waiver/attendee sheet.  All are welcome.  

If weather conditions meet the Showers Cancel criteria on the morning of the ride, I will post a ride-canceled notice in Comments, below, two hours prior.  Ice or snow also cancel.  Please check here before leaving for the ride.  

Please arrive 20 minutes prior to the ride start to ready your bike and hear the safety briefing.  If wet weather, please be courteous to other riders by having fenders on your bike.

What Pace Means

Pace classification indicates the intended range of speeds on level ground without breaks. This means downhill sections of the ride may be faster, and uphill sections slower.

Note: For rides with a “hilly” terrain classification, consider choosing a pace one step down from your usual comfort level.

What Terrain Means

Terrain indicates the most common or average terrain type of the ride and should be considered relative to the length and overall difficulty of the ride. For example, a long-distance ride with a lot of elevation gain will be overall less challenging than a short ride with equal elevation gain. Consider the pace and frequency of regroup as well to understand how advanced a ride may be.

  • Mostly flat: Trails and/or mostly flat roads with a possible gentle uphill
  • Rolling: Climbs are short and easy, not too numerous
  • Some hills: A few short, steep hills, some moderate upgrades and/or longer gentle climbs
  • Hilly: Consistent or continuous climbing
  • Off-road: Significant unpaved sections
