Event has already happened.
Join our regular Tuesday group for a ride from the East Lake Sammamish trail in Redmond on a 42 mile route at steady pace, 12 to 14 mph on flat ground.
A scenic somewhat hilly route on mostly quiet roads from Redmond to Issaquah then following Newport Way to Bellevue and returning through Enatai, Medina, the 520 trail and Rose Hill.
Let's meet at the East Lake Sammamish trail parking behind the Redmond Whole Foods and be ready to ride by 9:45 so we can have our pre-ride safety briefing and depart promptly at 10am. The address for the start location is a business adjacent to the trail parking lot.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup frequently.
Restrooms are available at the start but no water. Bring 2 full water bottles . We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at miles 12, 19 and 27. We’ll also stop for lunch at mile 19 at the Eastgate Safeway/Starbucks. Bring money for lunch.
You are encouraged to pre-register by clicking the red "Register Now" button above. There is no need to unregister if you decide not to ride.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
