Event has already happened.
Let's celebrate the 4th by riding some hills! This ride follows the Seven Hills of Kirkland route, but the adds a few more hills.
We will plan one food/water stop at the Kingsgate Safeway.
The starting location is at Kirkland Transit Center on 3rd street. We'll meet between the library and Peter Kirk Park. There is 4 hours of free parking at the library. Water and restrooms are available at the start.
If you click the "Register Now" button on this page it saves you from having to sign in at the start of the ride. Also, it gives me an idea of how many people to expect. Please register at least two hours before the start of the ride.
Please plan on arriving at least 15 minutes before the start of the ride so you can get signed in, hear the pre-ride briefing, and be ready for an on-time start. All riders must be present for the briefing in order to participate.
Ice, snow and steady rain cancels this ride. If the ride is canceled due to weather, a notice will be posted in the comments 2 hours prior and the ride leader will not be at the start. Be sure to check back on this web site for weather updates if the weather is in doubt. Please bring long fenders if the roads are wet or rain is in the forecast.
