Free Group Ride
July 4th Black Diamond Bakery Ride (Steady)
Event has already happened.
A great way to spend any morning but especially the 4th of July. Come and join in the fun!
This is one of the nicest rides in the area. We will start out at Old Renton City Hall, ride up the Cedar River Trail, and hit beautiful, rolling Jones Road on our way to the Black Diamond Bakery. After a break at the bakery, we'll return via the beautiful Kent-Black Diamond Road and Soos Creek Trail on our way back to Renton. This is a fun, social ride. Note that while on multi-purpose trails we will observe the trail speed limit.
Please RSVP by clicking on the red Register Now button at the top of this page. Then put a checkmark in the waiver release box, complete the Emergency Contact Number, and click on Save. By doing this you will save time at the ride start. Note that this RSVP requires a Cascade Bicycle Club account. If you don't have one and/or don't want one, come to the ride anyway and just sign the waiver/attendee sheet. All are welcome.
If weather conditions meet the cancel criteria on the day of the ride, I will post a ride-cancelled notice in Comments, below, two hours prior. Ice or snow also cancel. Please check here before leaving for the ride.
Please arrive 20 minutes prior to the ride start to ready your bike and hear the safety briefing. If wet weather, please be courteous to other riders by having fenders on your bike (preferably extra long with a buddy/mud flap).

- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
