Auburn - Enumclaw 47

Join us for a ride from Auburn Community Center (parking lot at the end of 9th St.) on a 47 mile ride to Enumclaw and back at a moderate pace =  14-16 mph on the flats.

The ride will take us out of Auburn, through Black Diamond (mile 13), across the Green River Gorge (mile 17), then continue into Enumclaw for a coffee/snack break at Starbucks (mile 28) We'll return to Auburn on farm and ranch roads to Green Valley Rd. See route link below for details. Let's meet at 9:15 for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 9:30. This a scenic ride on mostly low-traffic roads, with no steep hills. The ride leader will ride a moderate pace on the flats. We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, with short regroups as necessary so no one gets left behind. Faster riders are welcome but please regroup as appropriate.

Restrooms are available at the start and at our coffee stop in Enumclaw.

You are encouraged to pre-register by clicking the red "Register Now" button above. There is no need to unregister if you decide not to ride.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat and minor mechanicals, just in case. Bring a phone in case of breakdowns. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
