Join me for a late afternoon spin up and down to Sumner from the Auburn Outlet Collection Mall. We will ride the Interurban, Sumner Link trails and low traffic side roads.
We will start from the north end of the theater parking lot of the Outlet Collection Mall in Auburn (theater parking lot) and head south on the Interurban Trail for 2 miles before turning onto Milwaukee Road, and then hop over to Valentine Road and then on the The Sumner Link Trail. Once in Sumner we head to Starbucks for our restroom and food break. The route is then reversed to get back to Auburn.
Arrive at least 30 minutes early so that you can get yourself ready, sign the waiver, and listen to the S.M.A.R.T. briefing. This allows us to have an on-time departure.
Be considerate and have full fenders including mud flaps if roads are wet or a prediction of rain is in the forecast, or ride in the back.
A route map and cue sheet are at the Ride With GPS link, below. If you want a cue sheet please print and bring it. The ride leader will not have extra copies.
Cancellation Policy: If needed, a weather cancellation will be posted two hours prior in the Comments section, below, and the ride leader will not be at the start. Please check here or on the Cascade site before leaving for the ride.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
