Event has already happened.
This week the regular Tuesday TREATS group heads south for one of my favorite south King County routes. This is one of the first routes I learned from now retired ride leader Susan Mokler. There are plenty of hills but we will regroup at the top of major hills. From the Renton Community Center we head out the lovely Cedar River trail to Maple Valley then follow quiet backroads to Ravensdale. We then continue through Maple Valley for a lunch stop at Lake Wilderness Village Starbucks/QFC (mile 30). Our return will be via Sweeny Rd/196th for a thrilling descent to the Cedar River then some fast fun downhill rollers on beautiful Jones Road. Water and restrooms at the start, bring 2 water bottles, pocket snacks and money for lunch.
Please arrive in time to prepare your bike, use the restroom and be ready to hear the ride safety briefing at 9:50 as we will depart promptly at 10am
In the event of showers or worse the ride leader will not be at the start but will post a cancellation notice in the comments section of this posting by 730am on the day of the ride. It is always advisable to check the ride comments before you drive to the start of a ride. Rain during the ride could amend the route.
If you have a Cascade account you may preregister online by selecting the register button at the top of this posting. If your plans change you do not need to unregister. You may also sign in at the ride start. Print your own cue sheet if you would like one from the link provided.

- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
