Free Group Ride
Gravel ride to Wallace Lake
Event has already happened.
A fun and possible wet gravel adventure. Ride form Startup to Wallace Lake on gravel roads. After a snack we head NW to Sultan Basin Road, take the paved road for 6.6 miles and get back onto gravel roads. We then ride along the top of a beautiful ridge road and descend back into town. Possible post ride gathering for food and beverages to be determined by group.
Things to know:
Moderate pace is riding about 15 mph on flat gravel surfaces
Gun fire noise is common in the area
Active logging occurring during the weekdays
10% plus grades for extended periods
Have to port bicycle over a barrier of logs
I saw a cougar last weekend but no sign of bear

Things to bring:
Bicycle with large tires and low gears
Food and water
Appropriate clothing including helmet and gloves
Tools and tire fixings, tubeless folk should bring a spare tube and pump

- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
