Challenging Ride With Scenic Views

This is a challenging but scenic ride.

The ride Starts at Dacca Park in Fife. Then rolls through the tide flats in Tacoma, the Stadium area and down to Ruston before turning left on to a challenging climb up N 36 th Street. We go through Pt Defiance park, to the Narrows, through Titlow and continue south to Chambers Bay before starting the trek back to Fife. We ride through University Place and Tacoma on the way back to Dacca Park.

This ride has many climbs. A few challenging ones. with some rolling hills and a lot of beautiful views. The views are definitely worth the climbs.

We will be riding Moderate pace. The plan is to stay together and regroup at the top of hills.

There are bathrooms at the ride start and finish. With an optional bathroom stop at mile #12, (Also a good picture point) with a rest stop (with bathroom) at a Chevron station at mile #15.9 and a food stop at Forza Coffee at 33.8.

The ride will start at 09:00 AM, at Dacca Park in Fife. Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign the liability waiver and to be part of the Safety (S.M.A.R.T.) Briefing. 

RSVP by clicking on the red "Register Now" button under the ride title above, then checking the box for "Waiver Signature" and filling in the contact information. This will save us time at the start. Note that the on-line RSVP requires a Cascade Bicycle Club account, which is easy to set up, but if you don't want one of those just come anyway and sign the hard-copy attendance/hold harmless sheet. 

Weather cancellation: Steady Rain Cancels. Please bring fenders if is raining or wet, in consideration of those riding with us. Ride cancellation will be announced in the comments section at least two hours before start time and the ride leader(s) will not be at the start.
