Tuesday Late Morning Coffee Ride - March

Welcome to March riding, hopefully with no more snow.  We continue with much of the same great route that we had earlier in the year, with the added Jones Rd loop to get an extra mile and a few more feet of elevation.  Join Clif and Jackie for a Tuesday Late Morning Coffee ride to Seven Diner (previously the Testy Chef) from Ron Regis Park and back. We'll stop for coffee and a snack, then head back.  They now take cards as well as cash.  This is a great way to break up the week.  The mostly out and back route is an easy railroad grade climb to Maple Valley, with a few rolly-polys on Jones Rd on the way back.  Try either our Tuesday or Wednesday morning ride this week as they will both follow this route.  The pace of this ride will be based on the slowest riders, we highly encourage beginner riders and early season riders to join us.

Registration: Please register and sign the electronic waiver. This saves time at the start of the ride. You can create a free account at Cascade.org.

Weather: Please come with long fenders, including a buddy flap, if the roads are wet. The ride will be canceled with heavy rain, high winds, flooding, ice/snow or other unsafe riding conditions, and a cancellation comment will be posted here at least two hours before the start of the ride.

Mechanical issues: You should be prepared to fix a flat tire, with tools, tubes and the ability to change the tire yourself. We recommend having an Orca card or a back up ride in case you are unable finish the ride.

Note: Please show up to the ride start at least 20 minutes early, so we can discuss the safety briefing before starting the ride promptly at 10:00am.
