Willis Tucker Park Afternoon Coffee Run

Join us for a ride from Willis Tucker Park through some neighborhoods on our way to Mill Creek Town Center.  We will stop at Frost Donuts to enjoy your hot beverage of choice (and maybe a donut).  The ride will then continue through Mill Creek and past Silver Lake on our way back to Willis Tucker Park.  The pace for this ride is the lower end of moderate as ride leaders are coming out of hibernation (14mph to 16mph on the flats).  We will start in the afternoon to allow the temperatures to warm up and minimize the risk of ice. The terrain is rolling with a few steep but short climbs.

Expectations (important, please read!): Arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the ride to check off your name or sign the waiver and be part of the safety briefing. Riders have to be independent when they have a flat and/or mechanical. Please print a cue sheet in case you get separated from the group and bring a charged cellphone if possible. We will regroup occasionally and at major turns. Steady rain and other adverse conditions will cancel the ride. If the ride is canceled, it will be posted by 11:00 am in the comment section and the ride leader will not be at the start. If weather conditions are adverse at start time the ride may be canceled and if weather conditions change during the ride, the ride leader may shorten the route.
