It wouldn't be St. Patty's day without a parade of wheels in search of the pot-o-gold at the end of the rainbow. Our Gaelic gaggle of green guys and gals will travel above Sammamish then drop to Carnation where we will see fields of green, perhaps lucky 4-leaf clovers if the leprechaun has dusted the fields with magical gold dust. The route may have our shamrocks turning alternative colors of green as we embrace the hills of Louis Thompson and Union Roads on this route, but we'll be seeing rainbow colors jigging in our eyes as we take the well-earned descents. Dress like a leprechaun, decorate your bike in green, put a fun hat on your helmet or just come as you are to partake in the fun and folly of the day.
Join us for this happy, social event! The fun will continue at the end of the ride with coffee and green treats hosted by the friendly team at Trek Bicycle Redmond. Along with your new friends you can break out your best Irish step dance (since you've been secretly practicing the Riverdance moves) or tell your favorite limerick, if anyone will listen.
RSVP: Please RSVP by clicking on the red Register Now button at the top of this page to save time at ride start. Please register at least 2 hours prior to the ride. You can always register at the ride start if you miss the cut-off. If you sign up using e-waiver but decide not to ride, no worries, and we'll see you next time. If you are not a member of Cascade, please sign up for a free account and register so that we can have adequate assistance for the group. Thank you!
REST STOP: There will be a coffee stop at approx mile 24.5. We will try to keep this stop brief as Trek Bicycle Redmond will be hosting us to coffee and a treat after the ride so you may want to bring nutrition for a mid-ride snack.
MECHANICALS: Group will stop for flats. Bring tools and knowledge to repair flats, and a plan ie: Orca card, or a friend/Uber to call if you have a serious mechanical failure or choose to not repair your flat roadside.
RECOMMENDED: Mirrors and lights are highly recommended by the ride leader to keep yourself and your riding buddies safe and seen. Fenders and buddy flaps are appreciated if rain is in the forecast.
RIDE CANCELLATION: In the event of a weather cancellation a notice will be posted in the comments on this page at least two hours before the ride start and ride leader will not be at the ride start location.
