Farewell Ride for Wayne Agness

For those of you who know Wayne Agness, he is moving to Arizona.  I know I will miss him terribly.  He is one of Cascade's best ride leaders, mentors and Outriders.  We are going to lose a great ride leader and friend when he leaves for the warm climates of Arizona.  If you've ridden with Wayne on one of his rides or know him please come out and join me to say goodbye.  This ride will be more social than anything else.  I hope you can join me on one of Wayne's favorite routes from Auburn to the Black Diamond Bakery.

Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes before the ride start at 9:30 AM so you can get your bike and yourself ready and hear the S.M.A.R.T. talk (safety briefing).

Restrooms are at the start inside the Walmart store.

New riders are welcome, but please review the newcomer information in the link above. Riders should be able to maintain the pace and know how to change a flat tire (and carry the equipment to do so).

Come prepared to fix flats and have a plan for dealing with mechanical issues. Generally the group will not wait for flats/mechanical issues so make sure you know the route or have printed a CUE sheet.

Please register for the ride by clicking on the red Register Now button at the top of this page, click the waiver release box, complete the Emergency Contact Number, and click on Save.  By doing this you will save time at the ride start. If you are unable to attend you do not need to "un-register."
