TREATS: Redmond Ridge - Snoqualmie Valley Winter Loop
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
NOTE: 11 AM LATE START. Starting in the lovely, forested Redmond Watershed Preserve on Redmond Ridge, we drop down into the Snoqualmie Valley and enjoy a flat, scenic river ride with a food stop in downtown Carnation. After lunch, we begin our climb out of the valley via Union Hill Rd returning to our starting point on Redmond Ridge.
Start location is Redmond Watershed Preserve off of Novelty Hill Rd. Signage is easy to miss for the entrance to this park. Restrooms and water are available at the start, but please note that facilities are limited along this route. Please arrive in time for safety briefing 10 minutes before start time of 11 am. Bring money for lunch at Sandy’s Espresso at mile 18 in Carnation. Worsening weather conditions during the ride could amend the route.
Steady rain, frosty pavement, ice or snow will cancel this ride. In this event, I will post a cancellation notice by 8 am on ride day in the comments section of this posting and then will not be at the start. Please be sure to check the comments section before you drive to the ride start.
If you have a Cascade account you may register online up until 8 am on ride day by clicking the register button at the top of this posting. If your plans change you do not need to unregister. You may also register at the ride start.
