Happy 2019!! Come join Jackie and me for some fun New Year's riding. We will ride on trails, roads, and finish with a stop for ramen (soup) at the New Zen Japanese Restaurant, which will be near our end point.
This is a leisurely paced group, and we will make every effort to stay together. However, all riders are encouraged to have an Orca Card or a pick-up if you can not finish the ride, or for mechanicals that can not be fixed safely. Everyone can climb hills at their own pace, and we will have frequent regroups. You don't need to wear fancy spandex pants, but a helmet and a fun attitude are "Required!" Bring a helmet, water bottle, spare tube and money for ramen and/or other treats for our social event after the ride.
** The restrooms may be closed at the start ** Please plan ahead. If the ride is canceled, it will be written in the comment section below two hours before the start, and the Ride Leader will not be there.
Please arrive by 9:40am for the SMART safety talk and ride briefing! We will roll out right at 10:00 am.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
