Come join me for Jeff Mcguire's second mentored ride and support a fabulous new ride leader. I am honored and excited to be mentoring my friend. It will be a beautiful fall day, so please check the weather and dress accordingly. Come and let's ride my friends, nothing better than cycling with friends and making new friends! Let's celebrate!!
We will ride on some roads, as well as the Interurban and Green River Trails with a stop at Kent Station for hot chocolate and a snack!
You don't need to wear fancy spandex pants, but a helmet and a fun attitude are "Required". Bring a helmet, water bottle, spare tube and money for hot chocolate. You're encouraged to have an Orca Card or a pickup if you cannot finish the ride, or for mechanicals that can not be fixed safely. Please arrive by 9am for the SMART talk and ride briefing!
If the ride is canceled, it will be written in the comment section below two hours before the start, and the Ride Leader will not be at the start.
Sign the online waiver by clicking the waiver link below. You must create a free Cascade account in order to sign the electronic waiver. It's very much appreciated.
Restrooms at the start, may be closed, but there will be plenty of places on the way or my place which is very close to the start.
Meet in the center of the parking lot near restrooms.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
