MUMPS: Woodinville-Issaquah Coffee-Lk Sam (brisk pace)

Join the MUMPS (Monday Unemployed Merry Pedalers) for a ride from the Woodinville sports fields parking lot for a Lake Sammamish loop with a lunch/refreshment stop at Issaquah Coffee (mile 20.1). There are a few hills, nothing major.  

We will be riding a Brisk pace of about 16-18 mph on flat level ground and regrouping after significant hills or if the group becomes disconnected.  When on multi-purpose trails we will slow to observe trail speed limits.

Restrooms and water are available at the start, at mile 10, at the coffee stop, and at mile 36.5. 

Riders should be at the start 15 minutes early to ready their bikes and hear the safety/route talk, for a prompt 10 am rollout.

Fenders with long mud flaps are highly recommended if the roads are wet. You can still ride with us without them, but if you are spraying those behind you we'll ask you to ride at the back. Also be sure to consider the potential for sun, and be prepared with water and sunscreen.

Riders should be prepared to take care of flats or minor mechanicals, and have a way to get home or back to start in case you are unable to complete the ride. We'll stop briefly to help if you need it.

Please register in advance on this website to save time at the start. (You need a CBC account, but you don't have to be a member to get one. Or you can register manually at the start.) You don't have to un-register if you can't make the ride.

In case of cancellation the ride leader will not be at the start and a cancellation notice will be posted in COMMENTS below at least two hours prior to start. Please check for potential cancellation prior to heading to the ride.
