TREATS: Lake Wilderness - Green River Gorge

Park on the right side of the main lot at Lake Wilderness Lodge.  We will start with a descent to the Cedar River. Then there are some rollers through the forest to Lake Francis Park for the first rest stop (mile 8). There is a section of hard pack gravel (0.4 miles) to avoid Hwy 169.  Bring money for lunch at S'wiched (mile 20) [check menu link below] or if you prefer, there is also a Starbucks. After lunch we head east to Ravensdale then south to Cumberland and descend to the Green River Gorge. Then there is a gradual 4 mile climb up to Black Diamond. The final rest stop is at Lake Sawyer Regional Park trail head (mile 39) then rollers and a short 12% descent back to the start.

Start: Arrive by 9:45 am for the Route update and SMART talk.

Restrooms: At the start in the Lake Wilderness Lodge, Lake Francis Park (mile 8), S'wiched lunch stop (mile 20), Lake Sawyer Regional Park (mile 39).

RSVP:  Click on the red "Register Now" button under the title above, then check the box for "Waiver Signature" and fill in the contact information. This will improve legibility and expedite sign-up at the start.  On-line RSVP requires a Cascade Bicycle Club account, which is easy to set up, but if you don't want one, come anyway and sign the hard-copy Liability Release at the start. You do not need to cancel if you sign up and cannot make it.

Cancellation Policy: If weather conditions meet the "Showers cancel" criteria, a Ride Canceled note will be posted in the Comments below, at least 2 hours prior and Ride Leader will not be at the start.  If the weather looks questionable, please check here before leaving for the ride.
