WRUMPS Northend: Kenmore-Snohomish and Back
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
You've probably ridden from Log Boom to Snohomish but probably not by this windy twisty route! We will climb up and over several ridges on our way there going by Paradise, Cottage and Echo Lakes. Bring some low gears as there is some significant climbing! We'll take a short break in Snohomish and then venture back via Mill Creek and Brier. This is a stay together ride. We will regroup at the top of hills. There will be no map or cue sheet provided by the ride leader (though you can print it off the RWGPS link) so you won't want to stray too far from the Ride Leader as we go through several little trails that give us access from one neighborhood to another. There is a coffee/snack break in Snohomish 2/3rds into the ride. Ride Leader will cancel by 7:30 AM if it looks like significant rain or the possibility of ice or snow. Check the website before you leave home if the weather looks iffy!
To save time and to make the sign-in process much easier, please register for this ride. If you already have a Cascade account make sure you are logged in and click the <Register> button at the top of the ride description, then make sure to check the box indicating you have read the Waiver & Release, add your emergency phone number and click <Save Registration> button. Don’t worry if you can’t make the ride, you needn’t unregister. If you don’t have a cascade free rides account, consider setting one up it only takes a couple of minutes and doesn't cost you a thing. If you’ve pre-registered all you need to do is check off your name at the start of the ride – no lengthy sign-in procedure. Make sure you are registered by no later than 7:30 AM on the day of the ride.
