Event has already happened.
We'll start at the Three Friends Fishing Hole Park in Kent and make our way to Alki by riding on the Green River, Duwamish, and Alki Trails. At the midpoint of the ride, we'll have a lunch/food stop at Marination Ma Kai; then the fun continues when we retrace our path back to Kent.
The pace of this ride is based on having no wind. If we have a headwind, the pace will be lower; if we have a tailwind, the pace may be higher. Keep this in mind when deciding to do this ride.
Riders should bring a spare tube, tools and the know-how to fix a flat. Please arrive at the start by 8:45am for the safety briefing so we can roll promptly at 9:00am. Restrooms are located next to the parking lot.
The ride leader will not be at the ride start should inclement weather conditions meet the definition for cancellation (showers, steady rain). Ride cancellation will be announced in the Comments Section below at least two (2) hours prior to the ride start; if you have questions about the weather, please call 818-590-8167, preferably before you leave for the ride.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
