Midweek S-end Evening : Auburn to Black Diamond Bakery

Nice ride on a great day from Auburn to the Black Diamond Bakery then back through the Flaming Geyser. The break at the Black Diamond Bakery will be kept to about 15 minutes for bathroom breaks and water refill to make sure we get back with some daylight left. I encourage you to buy something from the bakery or leave a tip as thanks for letting us use their facilities. On the way back, we will proceed south toward SE Green Valley Rd leading us through some narrow switchbacks. The potholes have been fixed and debris cleaned up but take the turns at a speed you are comfortable with and keep an eye out for cars on the way down the hill.  

We will meet at the Auburn Regal Cinema north end parking lot next to Walmart in the Outlet Mall. Bathrooms are available at Walmart.

Arrive 20 minutes early so you have time to ready your bike, sign the ride waiver, and listen to the Cascade SMART Safety talk.

If ride is canceled due to weather it will be posted here in comments before the ride by 2:00pm and ride leader will not be waiting at the start. Rain will not cancel. Snow will.

Come prepared to fix flats and have a plan for dealing with mechanical issues. Generally the group will not wait for flats/mechanical issues so make sure you know the route or have printed a CUE sheet.

Please register for the ride by clicking on the red Register Now button at the top of this page, click the waiver release box, complete the Emergency Contact Number, and click on Save.  By doing this you will save time at the ride start. If you are unable to attend you do not need to "un-register."
